Rajeev Asija
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER


As Chief Executive Officer of Aforeserve, Rajeev has been a consistent growth driver for the Company’s new and existing businesses. Since 2013, Rajeev has led a steady improvement in the management and financial performance of Aforeserve’s established OEM & ODM facing businesses along with the successful conclusion of stand-alone service assignments with large and mid-sized system integration companies. He is currently in the process of spearheading an expansion of the Company’s portfolio through the creation of a dedicated set of service offerings for direct end users of ICT products. In this capacity, Rajeev’s primary objective is to align Aforeserve’s strategic business and expansion goals with its diversified customer segments and to position the Company as a single point of service and support, equally for manufacturers, integrators and end users of ICT products. With a key focus on processes and people, Rajeev leads a team of over 2600 engineers, technicians and service executives, delivering best-in-class service and support for ICT products across multiple brands and platforms.

A senior information and communications technology professional, Rajeev has had more than 29 years of extensive experience at HCL Infosystems Ltd., a ‘Big 5’ Indian IT company with a specific focus on the Indian and the Middle Eastern markets. At HCL, Rajeev held several senior leadership roles including Business Head and COO for the entire B2B market across business segments including Government, BFSI, Telecom, Defense, Infrastructure, Energy and Utilities, Manufacturing, Travel and Transport, Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES), and Healthcare. As COO, he managed a team of more than 11,000 people across all lines of business including Products, Systems Integration, Infrastructure and Applications Services with an annual revenue stream of INR 4000 crore.

As Business Head and COO at HCL, Rajeev received several accolades, including the Chairman’s Trophy for the ‘Best Business Unit’ for 5 consecutive quarters. His team was judged ‘Best in Customer Satisfaction’ for 4 consecutive years and ‘Best in Employee Satisfaction’ for 3 consecutive years by DataQuest magazine. Rajeev was also the recipient of the Avaya Global Connect award for ‘Best in Customer Responsiveness’ in 2005.

In the course of his multi-faceted career, Rajeev has managed multiple organizational functions including sales and marketing, operations, support, manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions and strategy, garnering a deep understanding of technology applications across diverse industries. He has also demonstrated a solid track record in the creation and growth of new markets and the establishment of new lines of business in global operations. Working with diverse clients, each with their specific requirements and objectives, Rajeev has gathered extensive experience in dealing with government agencies, the public sector and large corporate entities.

Keen to update his management skills and keep pace with transforming business environments, Rajeev has successfully completed several management courses and trainings from some of the most prestigious institutions in India and abroad including Kelloggs University, Chicago; MSM, Netherlands; IIM, Calcutta; IIM, Ahmedabad; IIM, Bangalore; ASCI and ISB, Hyderabad. In addition, he has participated in many leadership development programs and workshops including Stephen Covey’s ‘Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’ and the Situational Leadership and Balanced Scorecard programs. He has also completed numerous technical trainings with leading technology partners in the United States.

Rajeev is an ISO 9001 certified trainer and auditor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the College of Engineering, Pune.

Rajeev is a sports enthusiast and an avid reader of fiction and non-fiction. He has a keen interest in wildlife and enjoys travelling to mountain destinations with family and friends.

Soumitra Gupta
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT


A visionary strategist and entrepreneur, Soumitra founded Aforeserve in the year 2000 with the chief objective of establishing a premier service and support network across India to provide quality life cycle solutions to Original Equipment Manufacturers and Designers as well as to end-users of ICT products. Putting more than 20 years of valuable industry experience into practice, Soumitra has spent the last several years in re-inventing and re-vitalizing Aforeserve’s life cycle services to meet the evolving demands and requirements of manufacturers and users alike.

With an eye on delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction and quality service, Soumitra places special focus on the proper deployment of resources, use of technology and innovation for better service delivery, continuous advancement of skills and the creation of a conducive work environment that fosters team spirit and recognizes every member’s contribution.

Soumitra believes in supporting and nurturing new ideas and opportunities and apart from his role at Aforeserve has successfully incubated numerous young companies. He is currently also Chief Executive Officer at Aegean Infotech Pvt. Ltd., where he is credited with the creation of WarrantyBazaar.Com, an online digital platform offering warranty support solutions including extended warranty packs, annual maintenance contracts, accidental damage insurance and other related value-added solutions for users of mobile phones, laptops, digital cameras and other consumer electronics.

Soumitra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in physics from Maulana Azad College, Kolkata and a Master’s degree in business management with a specialization in marketing.


Arunabha Das
DIRECTOR


Arunabha’s primary role at Aforeserve is to manage its on-roll and outsourced manpower and to create and sustain the strategic and tactical structure necessary to support its high volume and dynamic ICT services network. As Director, Business and Operations, Arunabha has established and successfully operates multiple service centers and repair facilities across India. He is also responsible for initiating the in-house deployment of foundation software to support all call center operations, repairs, reverse logistics and service deliveries. An astute leader with exceptional team management and analytical skills, Arunabha drives end to end value creation through operational efficiency, considered resource management and responsive service delivery.

As a founding member of Aforeserve, Arunabha has been closely involved in the evolution, growth and expansion of the Company since its inception in 2000. Managing several cross functional roles, he has gathered considerable experience in handling profit & loss accounting, project viability calculations, costing and review mechanisms. A technology management and operations professional, Arunabha specializes in managing the spectrum of functions encompassing repair operations, inventory management, vendor development and management, logistics, enterprise resource planning and quality management systems.

Apart from his core operational responsibilities, Arunabha has also been instrumental in securing valuable pan India repair authorizations from leading Original Equipment and Design Manufacturers (OEMs & ODMs) for their products. His other contributions include the addition of a strategic customer in Mumbai with the provision of field engineers and 24x7 pan India support for its digital movie infrastructure and the establishment of a stable and profitable independent service delivery project with more than 25 centers in Western India.

Arunabha began his career at Hyson Systems Limited (Aforeserve’s sister concern), in 1995. He holds a Process Training certification in Project Management from AstroWix, and an Awareness Certification in ISO 9001:2008 from Bureau Veritas, India. Arunabha also holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce. He enjoys outdoor sports and travelling to new destinations.


Ramesh Bajaj
DIRECTOR & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER


Ramesh is responsible for the overall organization and management of Aforeserve’s financial and human resource departments. As Chief Financial Officer, he oversees all monetary and commercial aspects for the Company including financial planning and analysis, compliance, controllership, internal audits, treasury, taxes and risk management. An astute leader with excellent team management, communication and interpersonal skills, Ramesh has effected numerous improvements in the management, control and visibility of Aforeserve’s finances. His contributions include the consolidation and centralization of all books of accounts, the implementation of online finance ERP and the centralization of Service Tax registrations across 18 states in addition to the streamlining of FDI related RBI compliance requirements for the Company. Ramesh is also credited with successfully obtaining EHTP (Electronic Hardware Technology Park) approval from STPI (Software Technology Parks of India), Chennai for leading Taiwanese OEM, Foxconn.

Prior to Aforeserve, Ramesh acquired extensive banking and finance experience at the Sara Group, a leading export house with a turnover of over INR 500 crore. Through his 5 year tenure with the Company, Ramesh was responsible for organizing fund and non-fund based limits worth INR 109 lakh. He also successfully acquired several necessary approvals from the State Government of Himachal Pradesh for the setting up of the Terry Towel Project at Nalagarh, Baddi. Ramesh’s previous work experience includes stints at Pepsico, India and the Jaipuria Group.

A certified PMP Trainer from Astrowix, Ramesh holds an ISO 9001:2008 accreditation from the Bureau Veritas Certification India (BVCI). A Certified Management Accountant (CMA/CWA) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWAI), New Delhi, Ramesh also holds a master’s degree in commerce from the Himachal Pradesh University and post graduate diplomas in Corporate Law & Management and Tax Law from the Indian Law Institute, Ministry of Law and Justice Affairs, New Delhi.

Ramesh is fond of travelling. He also enjoys watching Indian and foreign cinema and has a keen interest in cricket, billiards, snooker and chess.

Rajeev Bansal
VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS


Rajeev is responsible for the overall service delivery and account management of specific OEM and ODM partners. In his role as Head of Operations for Aforeserve’s ‘direct to customer’ business, Rajeev is in the process of leveraging existing infrastructure, repair capabilities and technical expertise within the Company, to set up a comprehensive service delivery system for end users of ICT products.

A seasoned technology professional, Rajeev has more than 24 years of IT and Office Automation experience. Prior to joining Aforeserve, Rajeev was Project Director, E-Court, a Department of Justice initiative for the ICT enablement of District and High Courts across the country. At E-Court, Rajeev was responsible for a portfolio of more than INR 450 crore, leading a 200 strong team along with 28 vendors and 12 OEMs for the time bound delivery and installation of ICT hardware as well as the integration of more than 14,000 District Courts with their respective High Courts. Prior to E-Court, Rajeev was National Support Manager at the National Informatics Center (NIC) from 2010-2012. In the course of his career, Rajeev has held several senior management positions at leading software and business automation companies including, HCL Infosystems Ltd., Bhopal where he left as Regional Manager in 2010 and Xerox India Ltd., Dehradun where he was Senior Customer Service Manager at the time of his exit in 2002.

Rajeev is an ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and TQM (Total Quality Management) Certified Professional. He has successfully completed several management programs in situational leadership, team development and quality management. He has also participated in the Stephen Covey, ‘Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’ workshop. Rajeev holds a diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication from Roorkee University.

In his spare time, Rajeev enjoys reading about history and current affairs. He also enjoys traveling, popular fiction and music.

Rajnish Kumar Tripathi
VICE PRESIDENT, SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT


Rajnish’s core responsibility is to establish Aforeserve’s brand and to maximize its market share in the Indian ICT services industry, by adding new customers and partners for long-term business engagement and growth. As Vice President, Sales and Business Development, Rajnish is charged with promoting Aforeserve’s service offerings to the end user segment and to system integrators for stand-alone system integration projects, as well as with broadening the service bouquet for existing partners and customers with an eye to increasing Aforeserve’s share in their overall ICT

Within a short period of time, Rajnish has successfully built a dedicated team of experienced sales and service professionals from best in class service organizations to execute Aforeserve’s business development activities and to address its service level commitments across 23 states in India. He has also succeeded in acquiring several key accounts and customers from within a variety of industry segments including Education, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Hospitality, Manufacturing and Government. Rajnish is currently working to position Aforeserve as an inclusive ICT service provider capable of addressing the ICT asset life cycle requirements of every customer, from large manufacturing partners to small, medium and corporate end users, system integration companies and stand-alone projects.

Prior to Aforeserve, Rajnish worked at HCL Infosystems Ltd. where he managed system integration projects for national cooperative, regional rural and international banks, winning extensive orders for core banking solutions such as ATM management, networking, data center, Business Intelligence (BI) and other allied applications. Of these, he successfully acquired orders worth more than INR 250 crore from regional rural banks alone. During his time at HCL, Rajnish also managed an INR 1000 crore portfolio for the Company’s enterprise hardware business, handling clients across major industry verticals such as BFSI, Education, E-Governance and Healthcare. Subsequently, as Head of HCL’s Remote Location Business (RLB), Rajnish was instrumental in growing the Company’s RLB business 7 times in 3 years, shooting annual revenues from INR 50 crore to INR 350 crore.

A proficient engineer, Rajnish began his career at Xerox India Ltd. where he became one of the youngest Specialist Engineers in Digital Color Printing Technology in 1999. He was also the youngest engineer to qualify for the ‘Xerox Services Grand Slam’ held in Kathmandu in the year 2000. 

Rajnish is associated with several social organizations that work to build better lives and futures for underprivileged children, such as, Narayan Seva Sansthan, Child Relief and You (CRY) and Save the Children. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from LD College of Engineering, Ahmedabad. He also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing) as well as a post graduate diploma in Business Management, with a specialization in Marketing Management from the Indira Gandhi National Open University.

When on holiday, Rajnish enjoys para gliding and river rafting among other sporting activities.

Kishore Kumar Bijani
HEAD, QUALITY & GOVERNANCE


Kishore’s primary role is to devise and implement process improvements in Aforeserve’s operational procedures, based on system needs, customer requirements and management decisions, to achieve optimum levels in quality and compliance. As Head of Quality and Governance at Aforeserve, Kishore strategizes, develops and manages Quality programs and initiatives stressing on customer focused service deliveries, while keeping a constant check on the Company’s financial health, resource competencies, skill expansion and quality management.

With more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the IT and Office Automation industry, Kishore has a proven track record in Quality and Governance, helping teams and organizations achieve superior business process compliance and ‘customer delight’ engagements at every level. Having worked with industry leaders such as HCL Infosystems and Xerox India Limited as well as for large government projects, Kishore has developed critical expertise in Project Management and Governance, ensuring project and quality compliance while keeping a steady focus on customer deliverables and satisfaction. Prior to Aforeserve, Kishore supervised Project Governance for 45 prestigious system integration projects for the Government, with a valuation of more than INR 300 crore – keeping a special focus on delivery mechanisms, project financials, risk identification and resolution and inter-functional dependence. He also spearheaded Quality initiatives that led to the ISO 9001 accreditation of the Project Governance processes.

Kishore is a Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and a Green Belt Six Sigma Professional. He has successfully completed several management training programs in leadership, balance scorecard, quality, team development, finance, training and self-management. He has also participated in Stephen Covey’s ‘Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’ workshop. Kishore holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Delhi.
